Since it is Freddy's 15th birthday soon, I decided to post his 14th birthday portrait from last years party. He doesn't look a day over 14 and it has been a whole year since this image was captured. Andrea is whipping up an even tastier cake this year Freddy, so get your beak sharpened!

Yes, Betty is a cute Macaw and loves to show off her tricks and death defying nose dives from high above. But she also has an invisible personal space that must not be entered unless invited; I found out the hard way!

Norman, a Blue and Gold Macaw, loves to clown around. Aside from fatty nuts and other chewy goodies, he is pretty old fashioned when it comes to food. Apparently, as long as he is fed and has fresh water, he is all good. When it comes to favorite hobbies, chasing his momma and poppa around the yard or house is at the top of his list.

Dwight, a Hybrid Macaw, loves tending to his garden

Snuggles loves to walk and talk, eat, sleep in and snuggle. Occasionally he also chases flies and other small insects. The Caique (kī-EEK) are two species of parrots in the genus Pionites; the White-bellied Parrot (or White-bellied Caique) and the Black-headed Parrot (or Black-headed Caique). Both species are relatively small and brightly colored. Caiques are generally canopy dwellers, spending most of their time in the tops of trees, foraging and playing. They are highly vocal and typically seen in pairs or small groups.

Max, a Blue & Gold Macaw, enjoys catching snow flakes when they float down to earth. During his first professional family pet photo and video session, he even scaled the side of his house; what a feat! At only 8 years young, he has many decades to go as he can live up to '50 years'. The Blue-and-gold Macaw is a member of the group of large Neotropical parrots known as macaws. It breeds in forest (especially varzea, but also in open sections of Terra Firme) and woodland of tropical South America from Trinidad and Venezuela south to south Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay.

Louis, the break dancing budgie, shows us why he has already earned the nick name "MJ". At only 8 weeks, Louis shows us his "Pop n Lock" routine. The Budgerigar is a small, long-tailed, seed-eating parrot, and the only species in the Australian genus Melopsittacus. Wild budgerigars are found throughout the drier parts of Australia, where the species has survived harsh inland conditions for the last five million years

Joseph, a 9 year young Umbrella Cockatoo, enjoying his brunch at home in Beamsville, Ontario. The lifespan of an Umbrella Cockatoo is about 80 years. This means they will most likely be passed down to the next generation one day; how exciting!

Sydney, a Senegal Parrot, shows us his one legged stance

Rosie, a Red Breasted Cockatoo, is learning to walk over gaps

Pieu the peacock, striking a pose

Charley, a Macaw Parrot, loves rolling around on his back and being the life of the party. Although he is a greatactor, he does have his moments. That being known, he is alway keeps you in suspense; he loves the mystery!

Jessie, an Umbrella Cockatoo, is having a bad hair day.
